The car is my 1970 Slant6 Dodge Challenger that I purchased as a trade-in, in 1973 from the local Dodge dealership in the city I live in. Since I had just returned to SoCal from overseas I needed a job and even more a car to go to a job that I needed. But, with no money my Father stepped up and purchased this car for me (I paid him back, every penny with interest) with 40K on the clock and Dad’s wallet $1,100.00 lighter I drove away from Moss Motors Dodge in Riverside, Ca. (Which is now Moss Bros. Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler) in my ‘70 Slant6 Challenger. My only regret trading in my original Cal. blue plates for the early 80’s Cal reflective sun band plates. The license plate frames are the ones put on by the dealership.still own the car which now has 562K miles on it and she still looks great. Thanks, Al. Thanks Dad, I miss you a lot.
