What headers are you running? I’m putting together a 67 Barracuda. Running into issues of headers with 383 big block install. Are you running the factory steering column? I have a mustang II rack and converted to a custom tubular control arms with coil over suspension. I was thinking TTI headers. Also on the column where did you get your firewall plate to the column? Is it a factory one?

Hey Steve,

I am using TTI Shorty headers. Work great, loads of clearance especially with the 4 speed as I don't have the collectors hanging down past the frame rails and I was able to lower the car much more. The firewall plate is original factory piece as is the steering column. What k-frame are you using? You may be able to shorten up the section of the lower steering column where the bearing is installed. This will free up more space for your 383 big block install.
