I know that the Pro Flo 3 and Pro Flo 4 have different computers, but what was your experience with the Pro Flo 3? Was it worth it? I'll be looking forward to your experience on the Pro Flo 4 once you have it running.
I like the Pro Flo 3 so far. It is really nice to be able to start the car and have it idle like a new car. You can set idle rpm target, spark curve and Idle timing targets, fuel targets, and several other parameters. Overall it runs good and also to be upfront I only have about 500 miles on it. I do have a minor issue with running at low RPM in 4th and 5th gears as it seems like it is not getting quite enough fuel. I'm still tweaking on it and it is still learning so hopefully I will get it ironed out.
I also believe that if the transmission was an automatic I wouldn't notice this issue and all would be good as the torque converter would not let the engine operate in the rpm range where I notice the issue. If I had to to it over again I would with the exception of waiting a year for two reasons unknown at the time, 1) Waiting for the possible improvements of the Pro Flo 4, and 2) The price reduction of the kit over the past year. Other than that I have no regrets.
