400 stroker
I had a 451 in a 65 A. I blew a clamped muffler off when I goosed it in the tail end of a turn. Scary as I hear a terrible noise and metal on pavement. It was my muffler sliding down the street under me. Modded Pro-Parts headers and I also ran Hi-po logs. Could not tell the difference as both would just roast the 14's I had out back in any gear. It was like I had frozen pizzas back there. Logs fit a hell of a lot better but seemed a shame to use as they were restrictive, but plenty of F.A.S.T. guys run logs and turn very low ET's for full weight street cars.
