Been lurking here for years, but never posted til today. Had my basket case 67 Barracuda since 1996. Painted and on the road in 1998. Ran a pump gas 408 with Indy heads to a best of 10.38@130. A rebuild to the 408 bumping compression to 13.5: and maxing out heads was run on the dyno where it ended in an ugly pile of parts. #8 rod locked up and destroyed just about everything in the 360 block breaking the oil pump and cracking the rear main cap.
Last year i decided to put together a 400 block i had laying around. I'm guessing 100lbf tq and 100hp better than the pump gas 408. So, i will be hanging here more often from this point on. Thanks

Great looking car. Love the color. Never seen one with that stripe. Looks like they were made for each other.
