Driveway alignment suggestions?
My driveway was constructed by a drunk monkey who was fired for incompetence. And large trees in the front yard have expanded their roots, too. So there is not a single level place where I can set my '72 Dart to do a driveway alignment before going to the shop 8 miles away. I have set all the cams to the middle of their range, and have the tubular A-arms so a lot of caster can be dialed in even if the cams don't.
Should I just eyeball the camber, set the toe as close to 0 as I can measure, and drive it to the shop? Or try and level a couple of steel plates in the driveway under the front tires- is it worth it considering the short drive and they're going to have to set everything anyway? I can drive there on dirt back roads and get within a mile of the shop if necessary.
