I got my copy signed by Don Garlits in person at US 66 Raceway in Joliet this year.

Ultra cool Steve! I don't own very many books, but I will be grabbing this one. Yup, Dad would be smiling ear to ear on this one, I guess he is as he is in the book! That is quite an honor. The car looks great and is a fine example to be used.
 
Thanks all, yeah a bittersweet moment for sure. Dad and I didnt have this in mind when he bought it, but it's good like gravy lol. I'm flattered as I'm sure there are 100's if not 1000's of nicer examples than ours, right place at the right time.
I can't stand seeing that damned gap in the lockstrip lol!

Steve, I know your Dad is very proud & smiling right now. Congrats on getting your Barracuda in print :thumbsup:

Make that two FABO members. Although it was my E-Body that ended up on the first four pages of Chapter 2, the E-body section. There are some very nice cars in Mark's book. He did a great job.
