Don't look like bearing anything to me , hell their thicker than any lower end bearing.
I bought a new 1969 coronet /440/4speed R/T back in 1969. The first time I changed oil in it, the oil quit coming out shotly after pulling the drain plug. I took a piece of wire w/ a hook bent on the end and pulled a fairly big piece of steel wool out of the pan. Did a little extra pour thru and didn`t get anything else, that was one of the fastest hi way cars I`ve ever owned, and ran fine . Ended up trading it for a 68 427 corvette, which was the biggest piece of junk I`ve ever owned as far as a hotrod goes !!
