Really, how hard could it be to make a new block? I think 1957 was the first year for the poly block, each later version had just a few changes from the first. The cadcam, 3D printers and computers we have today are a 1000 times better than 1957 technology. Didn't have to much problem back then, or where those guys smarter? Money is a non issue IMO, Chevy guys don't seem to have any problems finding the factories, foundries and the like. All we get are excuses.
