Lol James!!! I work up anything that will fit in my oven. Just like my website says, "it's not ALL Mopar, just mostly Mopar."
Truth be told as always though, these right here are some of my favorite covers to doll up. They're like a big coloring book billboard! They live on a pro mod Maverick now.

I used to own a '73 Comet GT, Mercury's version of the Grabber. Bring it on doll!!! :usflag:

Awesome! Picked me up a pretty rare ride. 1963 Mercury Marauder. 7000 produced. I have a one of 50 purple car, with a 2-tone purple interior. 58,000 original mile survivor. Last licensed in 1976. Not a Dodge, but a unique ride, I think.

And I have another project I'll be needing your help with now. I'm back to buying cars again. Garages and driveways are full again, as it should be. I'm going psycho with this one...

May 31 marks my thirteenth year as a small business owner!!! I haven't bumped this thread for awhile (still trying to get through a really busy winter) but just wanted to introduce the shop to any newcomers who might not know about it yet. FABO Gold Members, FaceBook Fan Page members, Instagram Followers (@CudaChick1968), and of course our honored Military / Veterans / First Responders always enjoy a discount.

Here's a few recent samples from my bench. I specialize in custom one-offs, Mopar parts restorations and the most distinctive multi-color powder coating work you have ever seen.

If you have general questions, the FAQ section on my website is the best place to start and is tailored to new customers. It goes well beyond the generic "What are your hours?" kinds of questions and reading it can and will save you a substantial amount of money.

I am of course available every day after 10:00 a.m. Central U.S. time to discuss your details. I wouldn't be here without YOU! Your support and business mean the world to me and you will never be taken for granted.

Thanks for taking a moment to check me out!

I just found this thread! Wow you do amazing work. I'm gonna have to find something small for you to do for me just so I can have a piece of your artwork on my car.
I have so many parts from members of fabo incorporated into my car I'd love to have something you did as well.

I'm thinking something like this? The oil cap. Maybe the breather to match it?

First off, thank you for the amazing compliment!

Used oil caps can be done but the heat will vaporize the inner steel wool. They can be repacked with some new 00 steel but it's a bit tedious.

The black wrinkle I use is a really good replica for vintage parts; purists report it can usually look better than factory due to the texture being more even. These were done for our Swedish member Ulf (65dartcharger), the Technical Director of the International Chrysler Collector's Association, several years ago. His car scored 996 out of 1000 at MCACN and it's my understanding the valve covers were NOT one of the deductions.

That particular powder has a lot of leeway and can be heavier / wrinkley-er (is that a word? lol) depending on particular tastes. I like to shoot it on humid days because it turns out spectacular.

Give me a call if you want to go over the details!

The Fall Teardown Season will be starting soon. If you haven't chosen a qualified shop yet, please keep me in mind! My Dance Card fills up very quickly once the cold weather arrives.

Feel free to give me a call if I can answer any questions or help you choose a color scheme.

Here's some of my latest Powder ****. You dream it up and I'll bring it to life! Thanks for all the years of amazing FABO customers and for keeping Mopar Love alive! :thankyou:

After many years on board now, sometimes I get so comfortable around here I forget that the constant new influx of members are in the dark about the services I provide unless they happen to stumble upon somebody's show-off post.

So with everyone making plans for the upcoming cold weather -- and with my Busy Season Dance Card filling up rapidly already :-D -- today's as good a day as any to toss out a little wave and an invitation to the newbies. :-D

I do Mopar parts restorations, custom one-offs to match your ride, and offer high-end-style multi-color custom powder coating work you can be proud of AND afford.

My shop is in northwest Tennessee and I've been in business for myself since 2007. Since this site has been a part of my life since well before I hung my shingle (I've owned my Cuda for 22 years) ... and you've all been there for me forever ... FABO Gold members are entitled to a 5% labor discount. Our honored Veterans, active or retired Armed Forces and Law Enforcement officers receive a 12% labor discount.

I quote every job individually to be fair to everybody, and bill at $40 an hour across the board. My supplier offers 6,500 powder colors, textures and finishes, and even custom matching beyond that.

I spent a serious number of hours today FINALLY updating the shop's website. Though I still have a long way to go -- 15 months' worth of new work to add to the Gallery (mostly for FABO members) -- please take a few minutes to check out the new additions to the

To review all the new additions to the website [and hopefully oooh and aaahhh over all my hard work today lmao!], start here ... Phoenix Specialty Coatings ~ Exceptional Custom Powder Coating

I'm also happy to report that you can now order a maiden edition "Hand Job" from the Mistress of Metal if you don't plan to get any parts coated to earn a free one! They're only $8/bar with free domestic shipping to the continental USA. (If you're outside the US, send me a message or email with your Postal Code and I'll get back to you shortly.) See the "About Us" page up there for details and a paypal "Buy It Now" link. The next edition will feature more customized labels with the shop's logo and a little teaser blurb.

While I've got your attention, let me also invite FABO FaceBook users to the shop's FaceBook Fan Page! Almost 3,000 Fans and customers regularly enjoy the Powder **** found there. I'd be honored to have you on board too. :) Since it's so much faster and convenient to upload pictures there versus site updates (as you might've noticed lol), I tend to put the latest work there and on Instagram @CudaChick1968 first.

If you'd like a quote or to discuss ideas for your own ride, feel free to email me at PhoenixSpecialtyCoatings@yahoo.com.

Thanks for being here FABO! I might not always say it, but I never fail to value your time, your support, your input, and your business. As always, comments and questions are welcome and fully appreciated. < curtsey >
