Stop in for a cup of coffee

What's this? Another movie star or fashion model emerging at FABO?
Careful Dave. Any one of them might get jealous.
Remember when OMR looked like JPAR?
LOL
Nah, my goal is to undo what 20 years of circumstance has caused.

I was at around 215 lbs back then it was a comfortable weight for my frame. A few years later I tore the meniscus in both knees severely and spent a month in a wheelchair followed by 6 weeks with a walker. After that it was 2 years with a cane. I gained 37 lbs as a result.

Then I was put on an oral diabetes drug that I never should have been on. 10 years later, I gained another 45 lbs. 18 months ago, I stopped that drug (mainly because of side effects) and under my doctors supervision, monitored by blood sugar and a1c. Once it showed it was stable and there was no need for the drug, I began this quest. At that point, I weighed 315 lbs.

My plan was 3 years to lose 100 lbs. It is now just over a year and I am on target, now at 279 lbs.

I have lost 36 lbs, 4” off my waist and chest, 3” off my arms and legs and 2” off my neck. I have also been regularly checking my metabolism with my doc and there have been no changes since I started. My body is adapting to the change without resistance (the biggest risk with this level of weight loss).

I feel and move better than I have in along time.

It took 2 decades to gain all this weight, undoing it slowly is the only way to make it permanent.
