Nice going Mike. I've played pool for many years myself and not bragging but was quite good at it. I never went into tournaments and never played for money but I usually beat everyone. Funnily enough I got bored with it and put my cue away for 14 yrs. I got it back out one day and played with my son and got back into it again. Didn't take long to get back into shape again. But since I have lost the sight in my left eye which threw me off the game as you can't judge distance or depth as I see in one dimension instead of 3D like everyone else does. But I was persistent and got back to a decent game at least but far from what it was before. Next time your shooting stick close one eye and try a few shots and you'll see what I mean.
That's a nice place you have there and looks very peaceful. Nice garage by the way. Guess you can turn the AC of now.
I I can relate Mark, I worked for an eye doc and had to wear a patch on my right eye for 7 days, then sergery on it, I could not tell how far the door knob was no less a pool ball, man that is tough Mark, I had a furnace blow up on me as I was changing a thermal coupleer, on a roof with no gas shut off on this old doc office and rust filled my eye.. I was 32 and never want to ever go threw that again .. I played APA for 7 years and loved it, meeting new friends and all, but it was costly , I quit and bought my wife a new car for the same cost for me to play a month
