Easy way to check line pressure on a 727

I checked my 727 line pressure by hooking up my oil pressure gauge to the transmission line pressure port, in the middle of the right side. Both ports are eighth inch pipe. Came up with 55 at idle, and 88 with the kickdown lever all the way back. So it looks like I'm within stock specs. Here's a few pictures of the plumbing I had to do.
