Father-Son 1974 Duster Project

The front seat upholstery arrived yesterday. I’m going to pull the seat out and take it to the shop that did my dash pad and have them put it on.
Still hoping to get a few more rides in before there is any salt on the roads, so the upholstery can wait until it’s really winter.

I’m also hoping Santa brings this Custom Autosound USA-740 in dash stereo. Looks period correct but it has all the modern stuff I want.

Custom Autosound USA-740 Classic Car Radio With Bluetooth

I have a cool looking Panasonic in the dash and a nice pioneer digital receiver in the glovebox, but it’s a pain in the *** to operate it hidden away like that.

The Custom Autosound unit does it all and more with more power and it will be right there why I can get at it.

Also looking to swap a new steering column in. The one in the care is from a 68 and I now have a nice column from a 74. Once painted and rebuilt I’ll put it
In.

While the column is out I’ll change the cluster lamps to some bright LEDs

The thought of getting the classic auto air underhood stuff has crossed my mind, but I think the AC can wait another year. I know my buddy Sireland has the OEM underhood setup he will sell me. Maybe next year..
