The easy way to remember it is that sound travels 1 mile every 5 seconds.

That’s why we always count the seconds between a lightning flash and the thunder, and divide by 5 to determine how far away it was.

In Ca Dave :lol: We might see lightning once every 5 years if we lucky. That does follow my calculations on the 25 mile estimate. A single Delta moves some substantial sound waves. This one has 2 boosters :thumbsup:
