I'm looking to purchase a good converter while I'm in the process of this swap. Will a 2800-3000 or 3000-3200 be too much for a little daily driven 318 with a TF 727? I have a 750 Edelbrock, Weiand Action+Plus Intake, Exhaust, Mallory Ignition, Electric Pump/Fan, and 3.55 gears. I do plan on adding headers, upgrading the cam (XE268 or XE274 Roller), and changing heads.
Call them and see what they recommend. I have one in my car works great and they are very knowledgeable.
