I put a new flapwheel on my big makita a week or so ago.
It has no guard,but hasnt been a problem. I adjusted my grip and the outside edge caught my finger, it remove skin pretty quick.
Gloves. Gotta remember gloves.

Was running a small piece on sanding belt earlier thinking "Will this be the day I lose my fingerprints?" ( job done and still have them)lol
