A couple July 4ths ago I was returning to the house from town where "safe and sane" fireworks are allowed. Look up in the sky and there's a floating candle cruisin' along on the prevailing winds heading for the brush country. :wtf: were those people thinking?

Exactly my thought. This is the city, but its also the old suburbs. There's trees everywhere, and buildings. And here are a bunch of very nice, fairly mild manner, mostly crunchy people launching paper balloons powered by hot air candles...:realcrazy:

That's part of the fun of living here. Always something different, usually a little kooky.
