After brunch with the neighbors went up to fix the roof. :BangHead:
Figured it was going to be a rust hole, and of course whenever I *think* I know what will have to be done, it turns out to be something else.

Culprit looked to be a cracked solder joint. One of the brothers who did the repair work insisted heavy solder joints were better - and this is why they are not.

But in one way this was good news. It meant solder repair might work and not having to mess with paint type products in this weather. :)
Not pretty but got it done. Then while cleaning up, found a nail hole that wasn't properly fixed. :mad:

At least it was a nice day and there was still plenty of daylight. Cut a little piece of copper to cover the hole instead ofrelaying entirely on the solder.
Got it done and washed up with baking soda. Not beautiful but it will work. Paint tommorrow.
