American Powertrain pedals

Getting ready to do the 4 speed conversion on 67 barracuda . Would it be easier to use american powertrains 4 speed pedals? From what I understand that their pedals simply slide on the automatic bracket . I dont need the overspring cause im using a diapham clutch. Anybody ever do this?
