Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey all, Morning, hearing about the money you get as retired / injured from military makes me pissed I did not hang in there a few more years...
meh... I don't know it is all a points game. Whether active duty or reserves, goes by points. Active of course is better off but reserves get screwed, even if they've deployed. My father in law retired as an E8, 22 years in the Reserves, deployed 3 times to combat zones, multiple times of humanitarin missions. I did his retirement paperwork to start getting his pension in august. His point total netted him just under 640 bucks a month?!?! and to get tricare for just him, 450 a month. so thats' part of the reason I've all but decided its not worth staying for my 20. If I stay, I might get 400 a month. I think focusing on my civilian career is gonna pay off more than the guard side.
