1962 Lancer Wagon, Lancersaurus!

Wayne, I can't tell you how many times I go back and look at pictures along the way. There is a stupid little steel rod that runs from an air vent on the drivers side to somewhere???? I moved wiring, the heater pushbuttons, and in a couple of pictures I could see it going up to the right. So I finally figured it goes behind the nut on the heater switch assembly. What the hell it does, I have NO idea, but I am stupid like that, if it was in there I put it back. Of course after I got it in the right place it blocked the wire harness, so out it came, moved the wiring and put it back in. That is why it is taking so long. But the transmission shifts nice now! At least with the pushbuttons!
