Stop in for a cup of coffee

This is the time of year that I don't miss the dog.
Ten years ago the wife and I both deployed. Our little dog was left with her parents.
Wife came home a couple months before me. When she got back it took her three months to get our dog back.
Apparently the in-laws had formed a bond with him. We got him back but only with visitation. Every few months he'd go down and spend a couple weeks with them.
Fast forward three years ago wife had a hip replacement. The dog goes to the MIL during her recovery and rehab. The dog is still there and has become the worlds most spoiled puppy.
This fur ball gets weekly chiropractor treatments, acupuncture, Chinese herb treatments, and an occasional doggie massage. The best yet is Doggie Day care three or four days a week. Our dog doesn't want to come home.
