I had the same problem with one of those cheap parts store mini starters. Forever hot starting and problems. Took suggestions and went to the junkyard and bought one for 20 bucks out of a Dodge Ram. Get home cleaned it up real well with WD-40 and it's worked absolutely perfect. Never again will I buy one of those mini starstar from the parts store, might never need to the way this junkyard one is working...
