looks like the clip the same as '66 type. Must have been used up through '68 then. That should be findable used if not new.
At least the way your harness is postioned it doesn't look like the ballast connectors are being strained.

I was comparing the repop on my '67 to the original I removed and noticed the original fusible link tag was yellow. The more I look, the more I find little things different. It was functional, but for a points car it wouldn't cut the mustard.
