Stop in for a cup of coffee

Mitch. Thanks - that's awsome! View attachment 1715274427 looks like the clip the same as '66 type. Must have been used up through '68 then. That should be findable used if not new.

Hope you still have it!
At least the way your harness is postioned it doesn't look like the ballast connectors are being strained. View attachment 1715274428
Nice wire harness too!
I was comparing the repop on my '67 to the original I removed and noticed the original fusible link tag was yellow. The more I look, the more I find little things different. It was functional, but for a points car it wouldn't cut the mustard.

Thanks Matt. I do still have that clip. That wiring harness is original to the car. I removed it when I redid the engine compartment. I took it outside and sprayed it down with Spray9 and scrubbed, lightly with a nylon brush. Wash off with water, let it sit out in the sun to dry thoroughly. Then I hit it with WD40. Same way I've done several harnesses. Even the dash harness is original/uncut. I bypass the ballast resistor, behind it by soldering in a solid wire, since I am running a Pertronix unit inside the Dizzy. Then I shrink wrapped the two wire out of the Dizzy, to help it look more like one wire.
