Thanks for the post! I am literally knee deep in this right now. Oh how I wish I had found this prior to yesterday. I slashed the underside of my dash to pieces yesterday complete with setting myself on fire under the dash. I am trying to utilize the 2010 pedal assembly from donor car into my 72 Demon. Thing is huge. What a great solution. Yet another classic case of me being impatient and over zealous with cut off wheel. I will say it again research research research prior to diving in. But I did get it to fit.
