Rust-free '65 Valiant V200 project in AZ
NOTE: This is my car.
1965 Plymouth Valiant V200 Project
"Up for sale is a '65 Valiant 4-door project. It has a 225 slant-six (Carter BBS carb) and an A904 automatic transmission.
**PLEASE NOTE: The car does not currently run. It is however fairly complete. The engine turns over. It has no brakes. It's missing the radiator, and some other small parts, but is otherwise very complete, and in relatively good condition. This is an AZ car, the body is virtually rust-free, and it lacks even the characteristic rust spots these early A-bodies typically have. It has been repainted at some point (light blue). The body is dent-free, except for a small ding on the left front fender above the wheel well. All the chrome and glass are in excellent condition, and the trim is all there and good, except for the dings pictured.
I bought this car less than a year ago with plans to fix it up. I have collected many parts, including a complete set of 13" hubcaps from a '65 Barracuda, new 13" tires w/ a spare, driver-quality tail lights, package tray, factory radio, trunk lock assembly with key, dome light lens, factory spare tire cover, jack instructions sticker, and original owners manual w/ warranty card still intact.
The car has an under-dash AC unit, as well as the parts to make it work, but it is not a Chrysler dealer-installed unit.
All in all, this is a very clean Mopar early A-body.
This car is being sold without a title, but I did the research, and it's been off the books for long enough that a bond or an abandoned title would be a hassle-free endeavor.
A flat bed truck would be needed to tow it home due to the fact that it does not run, and has no brakes.
$650
(The station wagon next to the Valiant is not for sale.)
Thanks for looking."
