I have a 67 Barracuda convertible. I recently took my dash out for a re-paint and work. To do that the front windshield had to come out.

I needed to replaced the front window weather-strip anyway. I'd been told by some it might be difficult to find a repop that properly fit the convertible windshield. True or not, I'm don't know for sure.

I did some searching and found a company, Route 66 Restoration. I ordered my weather-strip from them and installed it yesterday. It fit like a glove, very happy!! Well that and the fact all the electrical in the dash worked!!

My main reason for this thread is to share with someone like me searching for an answer and hopefully give them an option.

See you and your car someday at the next big car show.

The company in Oklahoma that makes 55-57 Chevy parts? You are talking about the lock strip correct?

and it had the grove at the bottom for the plastic chrome strip?

I can't find mopar parts on their site?
I actually found the item on eBay. I was looking at my purchase information and they show Route 66 Restoration on the ad I have. Their sign on is route 66 cruisers. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, that is what I needed! I have an NOS piece and will buy one of the repops to see how close it is, thanks!

Got a part # ?
The only mfg for correct lockstrip(67) that I know of is Precision. Pricey.
Thanks
Sorry bought it through them on eBay no part number.
HemiSSDart I'm talking the whole front windshield gasket for a 67-69 Barracuda convertible.
It does have the grove along the bottom of the window for the locking strip.
I laid my lock strip in today and it fit perfect.
Price was $112 + $10 shipping.

Description says weatherstrip and pic is of a gasket?
I see mfg is "prp'. That's Precision Replacement Parts same place I mentioned earlier.
I bet it's cheaper from them. I appreciate it, but that ad doesnt make me feel warm n fuzzy.
Glad it worked for you tho!

Thank you. I had no idea that they were so readily available. Are they difficult to install? I think it was Layson's that sold a tool, for the job.

One of those white window install sticks works great along with some dish soap.

Yes, they have become more readily available since I bought mine from YearOne (the only supplier at the time).
