Intake suggestions for a 440 66 dart

Hi all, I have a 66 dart with a 440 of unknown provenance but a lumpy cam of some sort and an edelbrock single plane intake w/a performer 750 carb and a 727 with what feels like a stock stall converter.

My current headers are some diy customs likely modified b-body undercar units that were wrapped by the PO and are rotting out.

The quotes I’ve gotten for replacement headers are in the 3k range so I am looking at exhaust manifold options. I currently have a set of c body logs on the way to test fit and get a basic feel for what may work. I may go to hp manifolds if needed but want to use the cheaper units to feel out issues first.

My first question is what intake should I go with? It’s a street car so a dual plane, low height unit (currently I am touching the hood with a 2” air cleaner mounting stud.)

My second question is how do these engines run when they are over cammed with restrictive exhaust manifolds? I’m not a mopar guy and basically bought the car on a whim and really don’t want to open up the can of worms and “while I’m in there” that a cam swap will entail unless needed.
