Well I got the band.... but it’s not solid. It actually reminds me of the old stock bands that were famous for ripping the mounts off or bending the receiver slot for the adjuster. Rather than riveted it is welded and the band mounts seem more “robust”. It came recommended from the vendor over the solid. It is wider so more surface area is never a bad thing. We’ll see how it goes.
Brand new Afco double adjustable shocks arrived. Base is different than my Strange shocks and interfere with the lower control. I can either grind them, or simply mount them upside down.
Either way, car should be back on the ground and hopefully get tested before our late February race date in irwindale where we will be “filler” for 10.5 N/A class.... yes, I’m taking a spork to a gunfight.
