Shifters? Educate me!

I am building a 512 Rb block with a 727 in a 1973 scamp. I will have 3.91 gears in an *8.75 rear. I am in the process of rebuilding the trans and have the transgo tr-2 shift kit installed.

This will be a street/strip application. I will be running a Holley Super Sniper EFI kit. Hoping for ate least 550 HP. Pretty sure that will suffice.

What shifters do you use that perform well at the strip and also around town?
