That was my plan till I found out how much of a pain it is to get through the red tape of getting it back on the road. Once it is totaled. it gets a 'salvage certificate'. Cant just throw doors on and drive anymore. I swapped a front clip on a Volare my dad totaled years ago and had it right back on the road. Now we need to pretty much 'restore' it to pass the state inspection and get a reconstructed title. Can take months and multiple inspections. If you don't have a trailer to drag it back and forth that can get expensive. I don't have th $ to tieup in another vehicle I cant drive till probably this summer. Just was not worth the fight for me. It's gone now.
