Time to head to the store, cousin an hour away is having a super bowl gathering, I am going to make some cheese bites my sister told me about. I have zero interest in football. My Dad never watched it, he always had projects he was working on, he would never just sit there watching a game.

My dad used to watch football all the time...

Usually it went with the smell of burnt popcorn before the days of microwave when you had to cook it in a pan on the stove... Just a few kernels got burnt, most of it wouldn't, but enough to smell up the house..

He even had the dogs trained not to walk between him or the tv - or he would yell "fumble" and tackle them...

They learned to walk around behind of him when watching football...
