Turning back the clock

Looks like The Motown Missile / Mopar (Wire Car) Missile race cars and The Flash w/ Butch will NOT be at the Detroit show in March. The promoter backed out of the complimentary passes / admission for the cars. Oh well.....

Just a little Flash restoration update.... The Modified Production (M/P) rules in 1975 require the lights remain and be functional ....they do and are. Naturally accessories like wipers, heater, dome light, etc were optional and are all deleted. IMO, this and other rules, like altering the sheet metal were in place keep older Pro Stock cars from completing in this category.

Just about finished with the fuel pumps, fuel lines. By using the archive CarCraft photos , getting direction from Butch, and following the fuel line bracket screw holes still in the floor , we were able to mimic the original fuel system.

Next up are the wheelie bars, starting with fabrication the wheel brackets to duplicate what we see in the 1975 photos.
