200-4R Behind a 340 and Reid Bellhousing Build

I can see the nine; cheaper and stronger than the 8 3/4. But the gm trans is extremely more expensive than the dodge and the floor doesn't need cut, just the brace; correct? Driveability? How different are the ratios?
