So I called the drive shaft shop and they told me that is the way they build them. They said it puts less stress on the transmission output shaft. Also said fords use the slip shaft on the rear end. So I just wish they had told me that was how they were going to put it together, I might have had them do it the other way. Oh well, if it works, they said it does, then I am good with it. And it doesn't hold me up another week on the driveshaft.
