318 to 340??
440's drop in just as easy. Need a big block tranny.
- No issues with the big block tranny or linkage, hooks up just like your 318 tranny did.
- Engine "bolts in easy" with the correct mounts.
- The work is exhaust. Some factory manifolds fit A bodies well. There are some headers that aren't as painful, but you pay $$$$ for them.
- Also, for the added weight, you should up the torsion bars.
- With a big block, disc brakes up front to me is a must.
