WIW - 1967 Barracuda 383 4 speed car

I tried to describe the car the best that I could with the info I was given about it. A 6.5 to 7 all original running, driving 67 fastback 383 4 speed car. All I was, am asking is what people think what a ballpark valve is for this car. Most members were helpful. Then some DB want to say it’s worth 5 bucks because they are to narrow minded or just stupid on the value of certain years, makes and models. Hell, RRR is now the the grammar police? I say go F yourself. I just remembered why I stopped posting my build on here. When you have dickheads like RRR chiming in on your spelling and grammar it’s turns into a joke. For the members that tried to help me value this year, make and model, thank you.

While I think Rusty can come across a little harsh sometimes (or often), He has always tried to help people when they ask questions. The guy has nearly 40K posts with approximately a 1/4 of that many likes, while you have over 8000 posts with around 400 likes. Who is helping people more?

That being said, he will also not hesitate to call you out on the rug when he thinks you need to provide more information. I have to agree with him that it is hard to estimate value, with no pictures, just based on someone saying "It's a 6.5-7 out of 10 car", as people have different opinions of condition a car is in. How many times have we seen someone say "It doesn't need that much work"?

Case in point,.... Here's my Charger when we started working on it.... Who would have thought we would have to replace nearly every exterior piece of metal due to internal rust? I started my project saying "It's not too bad,.... This shouldn't take much" The last picture is what we had to tear it down to before starting to build it back up (Actually,... this picture is after trunk pan, extensions, and driver quarter had already been installed).

If you ask me,... Rusty gave the most realistic answer on here. Seems like you just didn't like his brutal honesty and reacted accordingly. I agree with him,... without seeing it, I'm not giving a realistic value either. I've seen a completely restored, and yes I do mean "Restored" 383 4spd notchback car go for $29K. I know because I missed buying it by 2 days and got to see the car before it was picked up.
