My work mate had a new at the time Chevy Duramax shortbed (!) that got great mileage until it hydrolocked...twice! GMC paid for new motors both times. M.A.N. injectors cracked both times.
I was seriously looking for a VW Diesel truck for about 4 months. Found 2 but both were just out of reach. Just wanted a little coal roller @ 50 MPG.
