If you are going to turbo it they make great blow through carbs that can be calibrated to your setup and then have tech support help you dial it in. As far as straight axle I went with speedway but if I did it again I would get a chromoly built from another company.

The reason for the lpg is I can use it almost daily, I plan to use the available forklift bottles as the main source of fuel with occasional top ups roadside at the pump. The forklift gas works out about £0.25 versus £0.65 at the pump. Pump price is still half the price of petrol over here so using the cheapest option a car doing 10mpg would '£ for £' return the equivalent to over 40mpg.
