Man I feel you pain, I have degenerative disc disease and my lower back and neck are about gone, been getting Injections in my lower back and need neck surgery just haven't got up the nerve to have it yet. It's put a damper on my love of working on my old cars. Hope everything works out good for you.

If you don't mind me asking a few questions...
Do you know what caused your problems? Mine was part genetics, part trauma (many hard dirt bike crashes) and repetitive motion. I have cervical spinal stenosis as well. it is bad enough that they are concerned I may develop bowel troubles...but my lumbar is worse, pain wise.
Has arthritis set in yet? Docs have told me that due to all the repetitive motion work I did that arthritis is just a tag along. When I seen a therapist for my lumbar stuff he told me that replacement discs are possible for me due to how bar the arthritis is. How many injections have you had so far? My docs are starting to get concerned about the overall amount of cortisone that I have gotten so far. Both hips, several lumbar epidurals and at least 5 shots in various spots of my shoulder.
