Doc that did the RFA said he normally has to redo them every 12-18 months. He redid mine exactly at 12 months...granted I was absolutely miserable for the last 2 of them.
Got an appointment in a couple weeks with pain management to review and schedule another RFA procedure for me. They do mine every six months. I have about four and a half really good months and then it starts to return. At just over five months, it's back and by the time I walk in for the procedure, I'm pretty miserable.
If it was up to the doc, he'd do them every five months, but the insurance company only allows for every six months.
