Those bearings don't look good. It looks like the ring butted the ends together. The ring land is broken not melted. Melted would be detonation/ lean AF. When they pop the ring land off like that its because the ring stopped in the cylinder.
Not necessarily true. I’ve seen when the ring butts it rips the top off the piston. Detonation usually breaks the ringlands.
Subcom, you may want to inspect all the pistons if you plan on reusing them. When I popped mine, 4 pistons had cracks around the wrist pin. My bearings looked the same as yours. Lots of load on the crank from the extra atmosphere.
