Farming isn’t cheap anymore. Never really was. Think about this. The Hemi road runners and Cudas of 1970 were roughly 4,000 bucks. The one tractor we have, when purchased new in 1971, 56,000 dollars.
Yeah, but thats comparing apples and oranges. A good quality semi truck cost the same or more than that tractor did back then.

Industrial vehicles meant to haul and make money always cost way more than passenger cars do.
