Question about carbs for tunnel rams

Hmmm ok when i get back from work tonight I'm going to start looking at Edelbrocks. Any model in particular i should look at?
Of course I've called the Edelbrock tech line and it's just somebody who's reading off a book with they want to recommend for you which will probably be the two five hundred carburetors. These will work probably the best but I wouldn't know. I use a 625 Carter performance with electric choke on the back and a 1406 that I don't have the electric choke hooked up to on the front. Which is a 600 CFM. I've got another Edelbrock 1406 sitting on the bench that I'm about to rebuild and match the two. when I called the tech line and told them what I had the guy was just flabbergasted like he couldn't even understand how the car can run. I believe that's because he just answered phones and makes recommendations out of the book Although I've been driving on the street and drag racing it for many years now that way. What works for me best is a wideband O2 sensor. That allows me to see where I'm at at idle and where I'm at at Full Throttle and part throttle and stuff like that. I just try to set them both up identical as I can. And again it's like people say you can just set them and forget them once you get them set up. I don't feel they're not the ultimate in performance, but again I don't like to fiddle with them three times a day. also I found the Edelbrock line up nicely for the linkage you don't have to buy some kind of expensive Holly sideways linkage to get them to work. I go back and forth between Progressive and one-to-one linkage also...
