First thing,remove wheel and drop it 3 feet to the floor. I lower wheel 1” and set it aside on the hoist. Dont have to lift it off the floor. Hoist deck is a great place to set tools and parts.

I once witnessed a big rear wheel and tire from a 4 wheel drive truck get bumped off the drive on runway. It bounced into the car in next bay. New shop rule. No more placing wheels on the runway. We did still lay the smaller ones up there, well centered.
