Stop in for a cup of coffee

Welp,, Turns out that the 2006 T&C minivan that grand daughter found on Craigslist was on a small used car lot. At 171K miles the top end of the V6 had a good bit of noise. It was needing front tires and alignment, the drivers window was inop, typical used car flaws. I understand going in that there is something wrong with all of them.
I couldn't talk her out of the 2004 Honda Odyssey minivan. Fully loaded, everything works including power sliding doors both sides. It needs a windshield. A little servo motor under the dash runs continuously making a "mouse the house" noise. 205K miles but runs and drives great, no leaks underneath, 4 new Michelins. Best price on it is 700 higher than the 2006 T&C too. We drove through a few other lots on our way home, but nothing else "affordable" got her attention. So, papa is going back to the bank on Monday. Adopting a Honda. Lets hope its not a problem child.
My issue with used car shopping,,, the market is flooded with them. There is a great buy out there, like a needle in a haystack. I hate shopping. Or in this case, I suffer hay fever.
