Just wanted to compare the lining position on the new brake pads to the old.
Driver side lining sits proud of the rotor. :rolleyes:
I trust nothing these days - whether its quality control or substitution of one size fits most to reduce inventory. :(
Looks like its a difference in placement of the lining, not the calipers. I guess that's good news. Really didn't want to have to exchange the calipers.
The new Metloks lining sits a 1/8 to 1/10 inch higher on the backing plate.
