On the off chance someone here has installed the Borgeson power steering box on an early LA 340 engine, what pump did you use? Turns out the Saginaw style pump and bracket from Borgeson are not compatible with my engine (68 Cuda, built in 67). Scrambling to figure something out That works without getting the original pump rebuilt.
I have a bracket for Saginaw pumps on early cast iron water pump 340s. I also have a super low profile fitting to clear the motor mount tower on sandwich mount (72 and earlier) k frames. PM me if interested.
